Adams makes Leap

JoBloJoBlo

Amy Adams is in talks to star in the upcoming romantic comedy LEAP YEAR for Spyglass. Adams, perhaps the only female star besides Tina Fey that could get me to consider going to a romantic comedy, will play a woman who travels to Dublin to follow an Irish tradition that says women can propose to men on February 29th. When weather derails her plans she is forced to bring the Irish tradition stateside, complete with surly Irish innkeeper. While the casting of Adams is good news, the script by Harry Elfont and Deb Kaplan (MADE OF HONOR) is bad news. Adams has a number of projects on the way including NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 2, DOUBT and JULIE AND JULIA. She can be seen next in the indie comedy SUNSHINE CLEANING. Filming on LEAP YEAR is expected to begin next February.
