Agent 47’s Aleksander Bach takes the helm of alien invasion movie Revoc

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Commercial director Aleksander Bach's feature debut, the video game adaptation HITMAN: AGENT 47, won't reach theatres until August 21st, but Bach already has his second film lined up, as Lionsgate subsidiary Summit Entertainment and producers David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman of Mandeville Film/TV have chosen him to bring their alien invasion project REVOC to the screen.

Written by Joe Robert Cole (who wrote and directed the 2011 thriller AMBER LAKE), REVOC is described as a unique, grounded sci-fi epic. Other than that, no details have been revealed, so it isn't clear what sort of alien invasion we're dealing with here.

Without knowing the plot or even what sort of director Bach is, it's tough to drum up much interest in REVOC right now, but these things will become more clear as time goes on.

The project originated as a 2012 pitch from Icelandic filmmaker Olaf de Fleur, but he doesn't seem to have any involvement with it at this point.
