Arrow in the Head jumped into the YouTube blood pool last year with their successful JOBLO HORROR TRAILERS CHANNEL under the JOBLO YOUTUBE NETWORK umbrella (created in 2011) which, combined over its 8 channels, has over 3.2 billion views and over 4.3 million subscribers.
They're now on the eve of launching a new channel called JOBLO HORROR VIDEOS, which very much like the JOBLO VIDEOS channel, would focus on original horror driven content created by Arrow in the Head and they want YOU in the mix! Some of the most popular series on the latter channel include WTF HAPPENED TO THIS MOVIE, BEST MOVIE YOU NEVER SAW, THE KILL COUNTER, AWFULLY GOOD MOVIES and others. AITH also has a handful of ideas for series of their own, so if you're a great editor and just wanna join their team (and you don't have a "pitch" of your own), feel free to drop them a line and show them some of your work.
Arrow in the Head are presently looking for video editors/creators who can create similar original, catchy and cool ongoing series for their new channel.
In terms of the types of videos they're looking for, pitch them anything you want, so long as they follow these basic guidelines:
- LENGTH: 8-12 mins on average
- THEMES: Anything Horror Film or TV show related. Genre video games and comics related videos will also be considered.
- SCHEDULE: Bi-Weekly or Monthly
REQUIREMENTS:
- You have to be able to hit deadlines. Arrow in the Head has a monthly schedule of original videos ready to roll, so everyone needs to be able to get theirs done on time. Consistency is key! If you can't deliver stuff on time, don't bother to apply.
- You should be able to edit videos in a professional and quality manner. If you're able to create on-screen graphics, that's a plus!
- Even though AITH can guide you in the right direction when it comes to finding movie clips for your videos, it would be ideal for you to be able to find high quality movie clips yourself.
