She’s given horror and comic book movies a good try, but is Jessica Alba’s real calling in comedy?
Not if you take THE LOVE GURU or GOOD LUCK CHUCK as any sort of sign, but that isn’t stopping her from putting laughs on the line once more. You gotta admire her fortitude. And her superior posterior.
Alba is in talks to join the scarcely necessary but sure-to-be-profitable sequel THE LITTLE FOCKERS, completing the MEET THE PARENTS/FOCKERS trilogy.
She’d supply her divine derriere to the role of a pharmaceutical rep who drives the dudes in the movie (Ben Stiller, Robert DeNiro, etc.) into a tizzy with her hotness.
The sequel picks up right after the events of the last one, with the Fockers dealing with their new children while contending with increasingly wacky circumstances. Paul Weitz (ABOUT A BOY) directs, which would seem to be a positive.
Alba has a quartet of diverse movies on deck awaiting release — the drama AN INVISIBLE SIGN OF MY OWN, the romcom VALENTINE’S DAY, the Casey Affleck crime-thriller THE KILLER INSIDE ME, and the grindhouse MACHETE.
