Alexandra Daddario to star in 1922 director’s Celestial Blue

Texas Chainsaw 3D Alexandra Daddario

I thought writer/director Zak Hilditch did a great job with the Stephen King adaptation 1922 (which has Thomas Jane delivering an incredible performance in the lead role), so I'm looking forward to seeing what he'll be doing with his next genre project, the horror thriller CELESTIAL BLUE.

Alexandra Daddario of TEXAS CHAINSAW 3D (pictured above) has signed on to star in CELESTIAL BLUE as

a flight attendant struggling with the recent death of her mother. When a deadly pandemic breaks out onboard a Sydney-bound flight from Los Angeles, she is forced to summon inner strength she never knew existed.

I can't say that plot description gets me hyped, but still, this is a Hilditch and Daddario collaboration so I'm going to be watching it for sure.

Covert Media, headed up by CEO Paul Hanson, are financing, producing, and handling worldwide rights for CELESTIAL BLUE. Liz Kearney is also producing the film.

We'll keep you updated on CELESTIAL BLUE as it continues to move forward.
