Alicia Silverstone is scary and funny in Amy Heckerling’s Vamps

In a world of ‘what ever happened to…’ no one is higher on the list than Alicia Silverstone. She was on top of the world in the early 90s, and now… I don’t even remember the last thing I saw her in. No bother, as according to Screen Daily, Silverstone is returning to the big screen alongside her CLUELESS director Amy Heckerling for VAMPS!

VAMPS is a love story with vampires in it (or so they say), and it goes a little something like this: Stacy and Goody have been living the good “night-life” in New York City as two young, beautiful vampires until love enters the picture and each has to make a choice that will jeopardize their immortality and much more.

Ah yes, for love, vampires always want to become human. I have a feeling this will be alongside other classic vampire comedies like VAMPIRE IN BROOKLYN… which is a terrifying thought. Then again, the part where they’re fun loving vampire hotties in the NY night life scenes might be kind of cool.

The other vampire in question is Krysten Ritter. It could have been Silverstone alogside a broomstick, and I’d be happy–it’ll be cool just to see her on the big screen again.

Production is set to begin in April, stick around for more VAMPS as we hear it!
