So this is cool! According to Pinball News, the company Pinball Brothers will be producing a remake of the popular Heighway Pinball game, Alien. Here are some of the changes to be made to the original machine, according to the report:
The two LCD displays – one large display in the centre of the backbox and a much smaller one inset into the playfield – have been combined into a single lower-backbox panel.

A new Weapons Status Display now sits where the playfield LCD was previously positioned.
The illuminated cabinet side panels have also gone. The cabinet design is now much more traditional.
There are also no beacon lights on top of the backbox in the supplied images.
As someone who's a big fan of pinball (I have fond memories of The Addams Family and Iron Maiden machines), this is right up my alley! Now, I've unfortunately never played the original Heighway Pinball version, but the changes that are going to be reportedly made to the machine by Pinball Brothers all seem like great additions to me!
Meanwhile, there will be two models for sale: a Standard Version, which will be priced at $7,777, and a "Limited Version", prices at $9,999!
So what do you guys think? Fans of pinball? Fans of the Alien franchise? If so, looking forward to the new machine? Either way, sound off below!
