Earlier this year, Funko released a GameStop exclusive “super sized Pop” figure of Ripley in the Power Loader from the end of James Cameron’s classic Aliens (watch it HERE), which is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. The 35th anniversary celebration will continue right up until the end of the year, as Funko has now announced that they’re releasing another “super sized Pop” Aliens figure to GameStop stores: an Alien Queen! Because what good is a six inch tall “Power Loader with Ripley” Funko Pop if you don’t have a six inch tall Alien Queen Funko Pop to have her do battle with?

Images of the Alien Queen Funko Pop can be seen below. GameStop is already accepting pre-orders for the figure, which has a release date of December 23rd. You can buy your own Alien Queen at THIS LINK. (And Ripley can be purchased at THIS LINK, if you don’t already have her.)

Aliens has the following synopsis:

After floating in space for 57 years, Lt. Ripley’s (Sigourney Weaver) shuttle is found by a deep space salvage team. Upon arriving at LV-426, the marines find only one survivor, a nine year old girl named Newt (Carrie Henn). But even these battle-hardened marines with all the latest weaponry are no match for the hundreds of aliens that have invaded the colony.

Weaver and Henn are joined in the cast by Michael Biehn, Bill Paxton, Paul Reiser, Lance Henriksen, and Jenette Goldstein.

A few weeks ago, Nerf announced that they’re also getting in on the Aliens 35th anniversary action with the release of a limited edition Nerf LMTD Aliens M41A Pulse Blaster.

The latest episode of JoBlo’s Face-Off video series puts Aliens up against its predecessor Alien. To see who comes out the winner in that match-up, check out the video embedded below.
