In another episode of ‘Whatever happened to…?’ comes Eduardo Sánchez and Daniel Myrick, collectively known as the dudes who wrote and directed THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT. Now we all know what happened with the film and its sequel, but what of Mr. Sánchez and Mr. Myrick? Dan is currently doing his thing with SOLSTICE and THE BELIEVERS, and while Eduardo hasn’t been as busy, he has written a little ditty called ALTERED, which hits DVD December 19th.
Starring Brian William Henke, Catherine Manghan, and James Gammon, the story centres on a group of 5 dudes who were captured by aliens. Only four returned. Now, these same four men have managed to capture one of the creatures who killed their friend and ruined their lives. It’s time for payback, but payback swings both ways! The film will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Unfortunatley, the only extra at the moment seems to be some deleted scenes, which would be fine if there was some explanation as to why they were cut, at least. Oh well, here’s the artwork.
