AMC to host 31-hour-long Marvel marathon ahead of Infinity War

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

While many Marvel fans are busy hosting their own MCU marathons at home, AMC theaters has announced that they'll be organizing their own viewing party that is set to last a total of 31-hours, when all is said and done. As is the tradition, AMC's epic cinematic journey will blast off with 2008's IRON MAN and wrap with a screening of AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR.

Tickets for the event have not gone on sale just yet, though rumor has it that they will be made available once pre-orders for AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR go on sale (which could be this Friday). It goes without saying that a 31-hour-long movie marathon would be a challenge for any cinephile, or even one of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. What do you eat before an event like that? Do you opt to leave the theater periodically, during the films you don't necessarily have to see up on the big screen? Does doing that defeat the entire purpose of attending the marathon? How will you choose which style of Depend-brand diapers to wear during the show? And finally, will you even be awake enough to enjoy Infinity War come game time? These are the big questions, people!

Let us know what your AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR movie plans are, and as always, we'll be sure to let you know of when we hear more news regarding this unprecedented AMC event.

AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR will arrive in theaters on April 27th.
