Amusement DVD site

Guys, I’d just like to say three words: Scary. F*cking. Clown! Keep him away! Actually, that is exactly what the studio behind AMUSEMENT seemed to have in mind regarding its theatrical release. Well, now it seems the clown will finally have his day on January 20th when the flick comes out directly to DVD.

That’s cool with me. Despite my inherent fear of those white-faced seltzer-sprayers, I actually want to see AMUSEMENT. The interconnected storyline sounds cool and I still think the trailer rocks. And now, to celebrate(?) the DVD release, Warner Bros has unveiled an official website for the flick. You can click right here to check it out for yourself. At first, it may seem a little bare bones and it basically is, however you will find a bunch of new clown-centric pics that are quite creepy. And you’ll also be able to check out the trailer I’ve already raved about. Here’s a plot refresher:

Three women are stalked by a killer with a grudge that extends back to the girls’ childhoods.

I say give the flick a shot. Even though it was written by Jake Wade Wall, who penned the quite crappy HITCHER and WHEN A STRANGER CALLS remakes. At least AMUSEMENT is something original, so maybe he had a little more freedom creatively. Plus, it is rated R for killer clown carnage.
