Amusement teaser

AOL has just put up the trailer for Picturehouse’s AMUSEMENT, directed by John Simpson and written by Jake Wade Wall (whose unfortunate filmography includes the HITCHER and WHEN A STRANGER CALLS remakes). The film stars people I’ve never heard of (Tad Hilgenbrink? Fernanda Dorogi?), but they all seem to be young and pretty.

Now I’ll admit, it’s a pretty damn compelling trailer (at least until it ends on an unintentionally funny note), that doesn’t really hint at what the film is about, only that there’s lots of sinister laughter to be expected. The imbd lists the synopsis as this: Three women are stalked by a killer with a grudge that extends back to the girls’ childhoods. Whether or not this teaser relays that is unimportant I suppose.

AMUSEMENT is scheduled to be released April 25, 2008.
