Ta-dah! Hi-yo, Silver! Away!

There you have it, the first look at a logo design for Disney’s eventual big-screen LONE RANGER movie.

Of course, that’s about all we have at the moment, aside from the involvement of megaproducer Jerry Bruckheimer, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN director Gore Verbinski, and his superstar Johnny Depp as sidekick Tonto.

The project, expected to begin some time after Depp and Tim Burton make their update of DARK SHADOWS, still needs someone to wear the mask and fight injustice on the plains of the Old West. Depp himself has suggested Brad Pitt or George Clooney, and executives undoubtedly nodded with exuberant approval.
