If you’re a fan of horror then chances are you caught FX’s “American Horror Story” last year. If that’s the case then you probably dug the shite out of it and can’t wait for Season 2. Am I right? Of course I am. Well today I’ve decided to come by and give you all a bit more Season 2 news to get excited about.
You see TV Line have dropped some more details regarding the plot for Season 2 of the hit genre series. Actually the details are more in line with a character in Season 2 rather than the plot… Check it:
Ryan Murphy & Co. have quietly begun casting a major new Season 2 arch nemesis for Jessica Lange — and they’re using one of Jolie’s most famous movie roles as their template.
The series regular character, ‘Gia,’ is described as a fierce, ferocious, extremely sexual and dangerous wild-child sexpot who harbors a secret — “think Angelina Jolie (pictured) in Girl, Interrupted,” reads the casting notice. As such, interested actresses should be in their mid-20s and Caucasian.
Sounds intriguing to me! “American Horror Story” Season 2 doesn’t start filming until mid-July so Murphy and company have plenty of time to find the perfect person for this role. And all the other roles for that matter.
Thus far Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson and Lily Rabe have all signed on for the second season with more to come I’m sure.
