We got a heads up from site reader famousfilms this morning regarding an interesting little trailer/ mini-movie preview of ALIENS: WAR GAMES, a new animated take on the James Cameron classic! Is it for real? Is it made by fans for fans? Hard to tell at this point, but it sure looks cool!
Produced by BlueFields, an animated and graphic art studio, WAR GAMES showcases the beginning of appears to be one kick ass ride of an animated series. If you head over to their OFFICIAL SITE, you can check out what I’m talkin’ about, or head on over to YouTube to watch the same thing.
ALIENS may very well be my favorite of the series, while it was more action than horror, the scenes involving the face-huggers were terrifying, and it showcased some awesome lines that I use in my everyday life (“Get away from her you BITCH!”). Though it appears like this isn’t an ‘official’ series, we can only hope the powers that be like what they see and decide to go with it. That would pretty much make my day.
