Anne joins Alice

While my interest in Tim Burton’s ALICE IN WONDERLAND is somewhere in the middle of the road, my interest in hot Anne Hathaway pictures is legendary, so that’s why I’m here to tell you that Ms. Hathaway and her lovely assets are joining the Burton flick, as the White Queen. Burton’s main squeeze, Helena Bonham Carter, has also boarded the fantasy, playing the villainous Red Queen. Who didn’t see that one coming?!

The two join Mia Wasikowska and Johnny Depp (as Alice and the Mad Hatter, respectively) in the film, which will use a combination of live action and performance-capture technology to tell the Lewis Carroll story. I fully expect Burton to give the already-trippy material his patented gothic sensibilities, so don’t be surprised if this one eventually becomes a hit in bongsmoke-clouded dorm rooms in a few years…
