Genre icon Danielle Harris, who mostly recently directed the trailer for the Las Vegas attraction Escape Blair Witch (that trailer is embedded above), has signed on to co-star in the psychological thriller Anne, with Love, which is currently filming. Harris’s fellow cast members include Mena Suvari (American Beauty), Blaine Morris (Skins), Jaime Gallagher (Nightshade), Luke Barnett (Faith Based), Rocky Perez (Gotham), Anwar Wolf (High Maintenance), Leonard Amoia (Random Encounters), newcomers Lucy Werner and Hunter Brown, and Robert H. Lambert (Burying Yasmeen).
Directed by George Henry Horton from a screenplay he wrote with Morris, Anne, with Love follows – as you might have guessed – a character named Anne, who is being played by Morris. Anne is
a painter who struggles with inner demons after being forced into a life of solitude when her husband leaves mysteriously.

Suvari is playing Anne’s closest confidant Maya, who has a dark secret of her own. Harris is Anne’s neighbor, who has several striking similarities in both her appearance and life.

Although Horton has over 20 producing credits to his name, his only previous directing credit is a Star Wars Elevator Prank from 2013. He has a feature called Ground Floor in post-production, and IMDb says he’s also currently working on a film called Project Dorothy while yet another, titled Muse, is in pre-production. So we don’t know what to expect from Horton at this time and the Anne, with Love synopsis is quite mysterious, but the film has a solid cast and I’ll watch anything that Harris is involved with.
Harris has been a favorite of horror fans’ ever since her childhood performance in 1988’s Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers. She has gone on to star in many more horror movies, including more Halloween films and the Hatchet franchise.
