Clive Barker is one genre mind we can’t help but respect. The man has been behind some of the great stories of our genre and here he is today still kicking. Last year Barker had a bunch of flicks hit us and here we are yet again with more news on a Barker-related story heading to the big screen. So what’ve we got in store for us this time? Check it.
The project is called RESURRECTION MAN and is coming at us from scribes Jeff Heffernan and Jorge Saralegui, obviously based on an idea from Barker. All we know about the project is that it’s described as an action/thriller. So that’s not much to go on but then again it’s Clive Barker so it’s pretty much worth a shot from the get-go. Right? Right. Saralegui has worked with Barker before, having produced MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN, DREAD, BOOK OF BLOOD and THE PLAGUE. The scribe was also working on an adaptation of Barker’s THE MADONNA. We also know that Adi Hasak and Gasmer will be producing the flick if it’s able to score a studio behind it, which should only be a matter of time.
