We haven’t heard much from THE HAUNTING OF CONNECTICUT over the last couple months (check out the first image we spied over THIS WAY), so color me surprised when Lionsgate hooked us up with this new pic from the film!
While it may seem like nothing’s going on here, you can tell there’s some haunted-ass shite going on somewhere in the attic, and Virginia Madsen is looking up at it, wondering just what the in the name of hallelujah is making all that ruckus!
Since it’s been awhile, let me refresh your memories. THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT is the true story of a family forced to relocate near a clinic where their teenage son was being treated for cancer. The family begins experiencing violent, supernatural events that the parents first blame on stress from the illness, but they later discover that their new home is a former mortuary with a dark past.
True stories of hauntings from beyond are becoming the hip thing to do in Hollywood, but I’ll hand it to director Peter Cornwell – this one is sounding (and looking) promising thus far! Can’t wait to check it out! Enjoy the new image above, and get ready for THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT in theaters sometime this year.
