Another Ocean rolls ashore

Adapting every single graphic novel available to man is the new adapting every crappy 80s slasher movie – as the team behind 300 and the upcoming RONIN have picked up the rights to OCEAN (not to be confused with THE OCEAN because this one doesn’t feature The Arrow as a doomed surfer).

OCEAN concerns thousands of coffins containing angel-like bodies, and a giant weapon of mass destruction, being discovered by a scientist on Jupiter’s ice-covered moon Europa. A U.N. weapons inspector sent to investigate uncovers a chilling secret about the history of humanity.

Um, is it that we’re all from Jupiter? Because I’d totally be fine with that. It wouldn’t make me feel weird about having the hots for all those weird alien babes I see on STAR TREK all the time.

Producer Nick Wechsler called the graphic novel “An alien thriller with a fresh take on the origin of man.” If you hadn’t gotten that already from the synopsis.
