AppleTV+ has announced that their reboot of the short-lived '80s anthology series Amazing Stories will be making its debut on the subscription service on March 6th, and along with the announcement they have shared the first official image from the new show.

In the picture above, we see Kerry Bishé in an episode titled The Rift. Directed by Mark Mylod, The Rift also features Whitney Coleman, Trisha Mashburn, Austin Stowell, Edward Burns, and Juliana Canfield. I've been a fan of Bishé's since RED STATE, so it's cool to see her in this show.

Developed by Universal TV and Amblin Television, the new batch of Amazing Stories aims to

transport the audience to worlds of wonder through the lens of today’s most imaginative filmmakers, directors and writers.

The series is executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey, Chris Long, Don Kurt, David H. Goodman, and showrunners Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz.

AppleTV+'s Matt Cherniss says Amazing Stories is

a beloved show that has captured our imaginations, and we couldn’t be more excited to share its next thrilling iteration with a global audience of all ages on Apple TV+."

Amblin Television's Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey said that AppleTV+ is

the perfect platform for us to deliver the emotionally engaging, wondrous tales that families can enjoy and experience together."

The first season of the revival will consist of ten episodes. Cast members in episodes other than The Rift include Dylan O'Brien, Victoria Pedretti, Josh Holloway, Sasha Alexander, and Robert Forster.
