This next story gets my nostalgic arcade memories flowing, as comic book giant Grant Morrison is reportedly penning the script to the (now) classic arcade first-person shooter AREA 51 for Paramount. You remember AREA 51 right? – the game where your sole intent was to shoot, blow up, and absolutely destroy as many aliens that had gotten out of control on the grounds of the top secret base in Nevada.
Oh man, I don’t even know how many quarters I wasted on that sucker; I can still remember what the red and blue plastic guns felt like…ahh, they felt like plastic.

Hmm…then again, I do have a certain amount of nostalgia over DOOM, and look how that movie turned out.
