Argo – Movie In A Nutshell (video)

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

Ben Affleck is back, both in front of the camera and behind the camera, in the upcoming crime drama LIVE BY NIGHT. The last time he played both actor and director was in the Oscar winning Best Picture ARGO. Though Hollywood congratulated him with the best movie of the year, they also ripped his heart out and set it on fire by not even nominating him for best director. ARGO is a movie about making a fake movie, so if you love movies, you get to double dip. So let's take a look back at a movie that took place in 1979 and covers many issues we thankfully don't have to deal with today…terrorism, politics between our government entities, US-Iran relations, child labor, fake hollywood, using the media to push your own agenda, abortion, excessive security at airports, bad science fiction, Canada, and anger management issues in Iran.
