Robberies (botched or otherwise) are the central theme of many a thriller, but good heist movies still aren’t very common.
It remains to be seen how ARMORED will stack up, but it certainly has a solid cast — Matt Dillon, Laurence Fisburne and Jean Reno, plus Skeet Ulrich, “It Kid” Columbus Short, “Heroes” star Milo Ventimiglia, “Prison Break” con Amaury Nolasco, and hey, was that Fred Ward? Yep!
I’m interested in seeing what director Nimrod Antal does with this — while his horror flick VACANCY was slight, I really liked his debut KONTROLL, a comedy-thriller set entirely in the Budapest subway system.
