It's time to bring back the franchise that catapulted Arnold Schwarzenegger into super-stardom, and I think it's safe to say that he's more than a welcome return. Filmmakers have tried to capitalize on THE TERMINATOR concept before without much success, but now Alan Taylor has a vision and that is of TERMINATOR: GENISYS. Paramount's dropped the trailer so now you can decide for yourself if you're ready to travel back in time once more.
This trailer actually has me torn. Everything that took place in the future was pretty spiffy as far as I'm concerned, but as soon as Kyle was sent back through time and they started re-working lines from the original movie . . . *sigh*. I'll hold off reservations until I see the finished product, but let's just say this trailer hasn't exactly worked up the enthusiasm that, say, the JURASSIC WORLD and FORCE AWAKENS trailers were able to. The good news is that any of your Arnold action figures can be a skydiving Arnold action figure if you drop it from a high enough altitude!
