THE THAW, the eco-horror flick coming at us from Mark A. Lewis, is ready to roll TODAY in Vancouver, and it’s doing some last-minute casting, to go along with the already-announced Val Kilmer and Martha MacIssac. Hollywood Reporter has Aaron Ashmore joining the flick, which is about a group of ecological students who discover that a prehistoric parasite has come back to life after a woolly mammoth is defrosted.

Ashmore, besides being Shawn “Iceman” Ashmore’s twin brother, plays Jimmy Olsen on SMALLVILLE. He’ll portray a college student in THE THAW…
