Atomic delivers horror

Recently
JoBlo.com/Arrow in the Head was invited to send a representative on a rather elaborate
and horror-filled journey. Fox Atomic was nice enough to invite a
few of the planet’s coolest websites to visit the sets of not only 28
WEEKS LATER (yes, that’s the sequel to 28 DAYS LATER) in London,
but also THE
HILLS HAVE EYES 2 (yes, that’s the sequel to SHAKESPEARE IN
LOVE) in Morocco!

Full details, pics, and interviews from both sets
are on the schedule, but there’s a little bit of pre-Halloween news
that should tickle the gorehounds’ fancy: If you head on over to the
official Fox Atomic website
on October 31st, you’ll notice that the thing has been overtaken by
something called “Carnival of Lost Souls.” And once the
site’s been infected by that particular bug, you’ll have access to a
whole host of Atom-ized horror goodness. You’ll
get sneak peeks at Atomic’s upcoming line of comics, some all-new
download toys, a few contests, and much random geekiness. Pics,
clips and info on WEEKS and HILLS will also be yours for the taking,
plus you’ll get a king-sized glimpse of FA’s inaugural release, TURISTAS,
which opens on December 1st.

You’ll have to wait a bit longer for THE HILLS
HAVE EYES 2 (03/02/07) and 28 WEEKS LATER
(05/11/07), but we’ll be back with those set reports soon enough.
And speaking as just one guy who spent a few days on both sets, I
can safely assert that the horror fans are going to have a ball with
these flicks. The stuff I saw was pretty sick!
