Okay, my horror homies, the drive to put forth this article comes solely from The Mrs. (but I bet you’ll all get a kick out of it too). Quick explanation: my wife is a Jane Austin fiend. If you never heard of Austin, don’t worry. She was this writer from long ago who wrote very girly period romances. But don’t stop reading because of that yet! I wouldn’t be posting this article on AITH if I didn’t have good ol’ horrific intentions! And here it is:
Author Seth Grahame-Smith has taken Austin’s classic PRIDE AND PREJUDICE novel and added a most appealing element: Zombies! That’s right! The new book is called PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES and it is essentially the exact same Austin narrative only with inserted scenes of zombie mayhem! Oh, the humanity! The Mrs. is gonna be fuming! That just sounds hilarious… and awesome! I just may be able to parlay it into some “quality time” with the Mrs. that we both can appreciate! However, I’m guessing she’d rather steer clear of it.
