Automaton date set

During this hellishly slow news week (thanks a lot, baby Jesus…), I have to gather what scraps I can in order to satisfy the rabid hordes demanding horror news amidst all the good tidings and crap. So I’m dragging out some info from a Myspace bulletin I received. Yeah, I’m sorry.

If the info is true, though, it’s no less worth reading about. Steven C. Miller, director of the long-awaited zombie pic AUTOMATON TRANSFUSION posted the news that Dimension Films/The Weinstein Company has settled on a March 4, 2008 release date for his flick. This is good to hear – this film has been playing the festival circuit like a madman, so a chance to finally see the bloody bastard is welcomed.

AUTOMATON TRANSFUSION tells the story of a secret military experiment to use zombies as soldiers that goes awry in a remote Florida town. For more info, give the MYSPACE PAGE a peek.
