Bad-ass Prey poster

We haven’t heard much about the sexy and scary, somewhat controversial, Aussie horror PREY in a while. That’s too bad because from what I’ve seen and heard, it seems like one helluva ride. At least we have a new picture to now ogle (up top). I used the word ogle because the one-sheet smartly features sensual star Natalie Bassingthwaighte (below also) front and center. The fact that she’s rockin’ a bad-ass chainsaw is icing on the cake! The poster doesn’t really help me clearly figure out how the plot goes, but that doesn’t matter because here it is:

Three couples on a 4-wheel-drive holiday wander into an Aboriginal sacred site and awaken a 5000 year old curse.

And I believe said “curse” for some reason makes Ms. Bassingthwaighte have an explicit make-out-a-thon in the shower with her co-star, Natalie Walker. I’d say that’s reason enough to check it out. Sadly, I only know that the flick is opening in Australia this May. No word yet on a U.S. release.

PREY was directed by George Miller and written by John Soto. In addition to Bassingthwaighte and Walker, it also stars Jesse Johnson, Ben Kermode, Christian Clark, Kristin Sargent, Nicholas Bell, Joe Hachem, and Jennifer Hanson.
