You gotta feel good for films that do well enough at film festivals to get picked up by studios for a bigger release. With that said, I gotta give it up to BAD REPUTATION, a horror-thriller with a tinge of revenge swirled into the plot that has been picked up by Maverick Entertainment for a sweet DVD release.
The film was written and directed by Jim Hemphill, and the flick stars Angelique Hennessy who plays a nice sweet girl who gets date-raped at a party. Of course she then goes back to school and has the stigma of a slut attached to her. But rather than just telling everyone that she was raped, she embraces her reputation in order to seduce other guys who wronged her, before she screws them over with a bloody revenge. Ahh, sounds like my kind of girl.
