Big news out of MichaelBay.com from the man himself, TRANSFORMERS 3 is not only a go, but it’s Bay’s next project, and the official release date has been bumped up from summer 2012 to July 1st, 2011.
Today is Day One. This morning started with an ILM meeting for five hours in San Francisco. Currently I’m flying with writer Ehren Kruger to Rhode Island to talk to Hasbro about new characters.
New characters! I wonder what racially stereotyped robots we’ll see in TF3? A hot-blood Latino Cadillac Eldorado? An Asian Nissan Skyline who speaks in broken English? I can hardly wait!
Michael Bay actually devotes over half the blog post to a P.S. aimed at Ms. Megan Fox and I must applaud him for taking that whole shitfest in stride.
