Say what you will about the upcoming remake of , at this point it doesn’t really matter if you love or hate the idea because… well, because it’s coming no matter what. had a chance to visit the set of the remake, giving us a ‘first look’ at hottie Sophia Bush and Sean Bean as the Hitcher!

Courtesy of , the clip features Bush all hyped up about doing stunt sequences, a car spinning around in the rain, and a few glimpses of Bean in psychopathic Ryder mode. So how does it look so far? and see for yourself.

The initial idea of remaking this movie blew me away- just what in the hell were they thinking? But after I took a visit to the set (stay tuned for that Set Visit!), and checked out this clip… eh, we’ll see. Could go either way. Honestly, I love that they cast Bean as Ryder, as I think he’s perfect for the role. As far as Bush goes… well, I hope she’s not as annoying as this clip lets her on to be. But hey, at least she’s hot, right?

Be sure to check out the new and prepare for THE HITCHER hitting theaters April 13th, 2007. And yeah, stick around for my Set Visit, which be up soon.
