I’ve made it no secret that I’m a huge fan of Scott Glosserman’s BEHIND THE MASK: THE RISE OF LESLIE VERNON. Hell I’ve already got it’s sequel, BEFORE THE MASK: THE RETURN OF LESLIE VERNON, pre-ordered on Blu-Ray. Yeah, I’m that dedicated.
But Glosserman and company are still trying to raise funds to get that long-awaited sequel made. According to the guys over at Dread Central they just came up with a brand new way!
You see Glosserman recently put together a company called Gathr. What Gathr does is allow people to demand a movie play on the big screen in their area. If enough demands are presented, they will be met! And the first film to get the big screen treatment through Gathr? Yeah, you guessed it – BEHIND THE MASK! Most viewings put together through Gathr will also involve Q & As either live or through Skype. You can go ahead and tap Gathr’s official website for more info.
To celebrate this announcement artist Justin Osbourn has thrown together a new one-sheet for the film that screams all kinds of awesome. And the kicker? The poster is available to purchase! Each poster will be printed on 100-lb. glossy paper stock and will be shipped in a tube, NOT folded. Quantities are limited to 425 and will be hand-numbered. You can go ahead and order that shite, which can be found directly below, right over HERE. All proceeds will of course go towards the making of BEFORE THE MASK.
