At some point, Ridley Scott’s ROBIN HOOD went from a tale of the famous outlaw redistributing wealth in Sherwood Forest to a medieval epic. How and why?

Judging from what Scott, star Russell Crowe and manga-haired producer Brian Grazer have to say in this clip… they basically just felt like it. And so the scope expanded from Nottingham robberies to a sprawling war story, with the Robin Hood folklore intertwined in a truly legendary fashion.
