I can’t tell if I’m excited for Richard Raaphorst’s FRANKENSTEIN’S ARMY or not… It’s one of those things where I want to be, but it’s just not doing the job. You know? Regardless I’m here today to give you all not one update on the film – but two!

You see apparently there’s this daily talkshow in the Netherlands called “De Wereld Draait Door” and on said show FRANKENSTEIN’S ARMY’s Special Effects Supervisor Rogier Samuels was a guest. Not only did he talk about the film, but he showed off some goods as well! Including that brainy shot you see directly below! You can also find the video from the interview below as well. Scroll on down and enjoy.

Then courtesy of the international site Horror.nl we’ve got a look at another deadly contraption from the flick. You can get a look at that shite above. What exactly are we looking at? A mechanical zombie arm apparently! Also word has it the flick won’t have any CGI… can’t beat that!

FRANKENSTEIN’S ARMY takes place toward the end of World War II, as Russian soldiers push into eastern Germany and stumble across a secret Nazi lab, one that has unearthed and begun experimenting with the journal of one Dr. Viktor Frankenstein. The scientists have used the legendary Frankenstein’s work to assemble an army of super-soldiers stitched together from the body parts of their fallen comrades – a desperate Hitler’s last ghastly ploy to escape defeat.

FRANKENSTEIN’S ARMY sports a cast of names that include Karel Roden, Alexander Mercury, Joshua Sasse, Luke Newberry, Andrei Zayats, Mark Stevenson, Hon Ping Tang, Cristina Catalina, Robert Gwylim, and Jan De Lukovicz. As always when more news from this little diddy spill our way we’ll pass that shite right along to all of you.
