Anchor Bay will release the vampire flick THE BLEEDING on DVD on March 1st. To whet your appetite for blood, you can check out a behind-the-scenes look at make-up effects below, along with the trailer. Here’s the plot:
Shawn Black knows pain. His parents and brother were killed in front of him. Beaten, bloodied and left for dead by a gang of ruthless vampires led by the charismatic Cain and his lethal lieutenant Vanya. But like his would-be murderers, Shawn has come back from the brink of death to take his revenge. He soon comes upon Reverend Roy, who reveals to Shawn his calling as a “slayer,” the only human capable of truly destroying vampires.
The action/thriller is directed by Charlie Picerni and written by Lance Lane. Its ensemble cast includes Vinnie Jones (THE MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN), Michael Madsen (RESERVOIR DOGS), Armand Assante (JUDGE DREDD), rapper DMX, UFC model Rachelle Leah, and tattoo artist/reality star Kat Von D (below).
