Bella Thorne goes on a crime spree in trailer for Infamous

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Bella Thorne works on so many horror and thriller projects, we can hardly keep up with them. We've written about numerous films she has signed on to star in, then others don't show up on our radar until the trailer drops online – which is what has happened with her latest film, INFAMOUS.

Vertical Entertainment acquired the North American distribution rights to INFAMOUS just last week, and have now caught our attention with the trailer embedded above. They'll be giving the film a virtual cinema and VOD release on June 12th.

Written and directed by Joshua Caldwell, the film stars Thorne as Arielle,

a young woman who lives in a small Florida town, stuck in a diner job. Arielle has always wanted more: fame, popularity and admiration. But when she falls for a recently paroled young criminal named Dean, she drags him back into a life of danger, learning that posting their criminal exploits on social media is an easy way to viral fame. They embark on a dangerous adventure together that leads to robbery, cop chases, and murder.

Caldwell describes his film as a "neon candy adrenaline thrill ride". Thorne is joined in the cast by Jake Manley and Amber Riley.

INFAMOUS was produced by Thor Bradwell, Shaun Sanghani of SSS Entertainment, Colin Bates and Michael Jefferson of Lucidity Entertainment, and Scott Levenson, in association with Vertical Entertainment, Beer Money Worldwide and El Ride Productions. Sanghani financed the film through SSS Film Capital.
