What do you get when you cross ANACONDA with DEEP BLUE SEA, with EXECUTIVE DECISION and THE O.C.? You get PACIFIC AIR 121 (formerly FLIGHT 121, fomerly SNAKES ON A PLANE)!
The flick just signed Benjamin MacKenzie, the badboy on THE O.C., to play the rookie pilot flying the ill-fated flight that’s transporting FBI agent and all-around mofo Samuel L. Jackson. Since he’s the star witness in a case against the mob, the mob decides the best way to get rid of him… is unleash a mob of deadly vipers to take him out… and everyone else at the same time!
The flick, which is directed by FINAL DESTINATION 2 director David R. Ellis, sounds about as much fun as you can get without taking yourself too seriously (I mean, dude, the original title was SNAKES ON A PLANE!). Plus, being an O.C. junkie (yes, another one of McG’s guilty pleasures) I’m looking forward to seeing Benjamin in a different role, to see what the dude can do! Maybe horror will be his niche…
