A long ways back, I did a little write-up on an indie slasher called BIND. For a while, I thought the flick’s release options were bound and gagged, but now I see some hope in the guise of a brand new poster (up top) as well as some newly confirmed cast members.
First off, while the poster doesn’t exactly look like anything too new, it still seems fairly effective (the hand clutching the blade helps). The tagline ain’t bad either. As for the cast, I think you’ll be very impressed and pleased: the delectable duo of Christa Campbell and Raine Brown (both below) has been confirmed as in! The hottie factor for BIND just increased exponentially. Now take a look at the highly enjoyable plot:
For years the wooded mountains have been the setting for many myths, horror and ghost stories, told one generation to the next on camping trips. Only, what no one ever thought to consider was, what if there was someone in those woods worse than any myth imaginable…a grisly forest-stalker opus in the ’80s tradition…
BIND was written and directed by Dan Walton. The rest of the cast includes Brooke Lewis, Dan Ellis, Michael Edwards and Jim Pacitti. I’m thinking we’ll be getting a trailer some time soon. It’s listed as releasing this December.
