Bind plot/cast details

Dan Walton seems to be a name for ardent horror-heads to take note of. Since 2005, the dude’s has received special thanks on a number of cool genre flicks, including FEAST, THE TRIPPER, as well as the awesome-in-premise, uneven-in-execution Showtime series “Masters of Horror.” And after co-exec producing the 2008 flick GUTTERBALLS (as well as Ryan Nicholson’s follow up, HANGER), Walton is finally attacking his writing/directing debut with a flick called BIND.

Featuring Christa Campbell (below), Al Santos, Travis Aaron Wade, Raine Brown (love that name!), Wolfgang J. Weber, and Jessica Von – BIND tells the story of a weekend getaway to a scenic winter wonderland that takes a deadly turn when a group of friends find themselves pitted against the elements and a dark presence with a bloody agenda.

Hmmm, a dark presence, huh? Sounds like racism to me!

All japing aside, the flick does look sound pretty rad. I mean, when a flick boasts the tagline: Hell Just Froze Over, I think we should give it the benefit of the doubt. Don’t you?

BIND, currently in pre-production, starts filming in Vancouver this coming March.
