Bizarre Splice images

Want to see some freaky-deaky shit? head on over to Dread Central, where they’ve got some weirdass images from the upcoming Guillermo del Toro produced, Vincenzo Natali directed thriller SPLICE.

They apparently caught these glimpses at AFM, and they’re enough to make you not want to splice human and animal DNA together… Well, almost.

SPLICE is about two scientists who do just that – and create a mutant baby who grows, of course, into a beautiful, winged chimera! Take that, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ baby! Of course, this is a thriller so don’t expect this flick to be about that freak’s baby shower…

So far Natali has got Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley on board, so the human-chimera hybrid won’t have to carry the pic on his own. SPLICE is scheduled to be released sometime in 2009.
