Just yesterday we gave you the heads up about the DVD release information for Christopher Smith’s TRIANGLE. And today, we have a look at some new pics from Smith’s other upcoming horror flick BLACK DEATH!
Thanks to Bloody-D, the new images from the film are revealing some medieval torture techniques and Sean Bean laying on the hurt. Good lord that guy’s badass.
In a nutshell, BLACK DEATH goes like this: Medieval England has fallen under the shadow of the Black Death. In this apocalyptic world, filled with fear and superstition, a young monk called Osmund is charged in leading a fearsome knight, Ulric and his group of mercenaries to a remote marsh. Their quest is to hunt down a necromancer – someone able to bring the dead back to life. Torn between his love of God and the love of a young woman, Osmund discovers the necromancer, a mysterious beauty called Langiva. After Langiva reveals her Satanic identity and offers Osmund his hearts desire, the horror of his real journey begins.
For those into period pieces, swords, sorcery, and damsels in distress, this sounds like your bag and then some. For the rest of us… well, it promises ample bloodshed and Sean Bean kicking ass. The flick also stars Eddie Redmayne, Carice Van Houten, Rupert Friend, and Kimberley Nixon.
