Blade Helms FvJ2?

MoviesOnline talked with the folks over at New Line about the upcoming FREDDY VS JASON 2, and has some pretty cool news to tell indeed.

It looks like Ronny Yu won’t be coming back for the sequel as we all had hoped he would, but not to fret! Stephen Norrington, the director of BLADE, has been approached by New Line to take the helm! Good Shite! I’m sorry Ronny had to go, but Norrington is definately a worthy replacement.

Robert Englund and Ken Kirzinger are both returning… and as the script has just been finished last week, filming of this bad boy is set to start June 16th in Vancouver!

I’m just glad that FvsJ2 is really going to happen, and not just some rumor that will never go away. Stay tuned for more news from the second battle-to-end-all-battles as we here it.
