As previously reported, the latest entry in Full Moon's PUPPET MASTER franchise, PUPPET MASTER: AXIS TERMINATION, will be released through the company's streaming service and Amazon channel in three chapters. The first chapter, titled "War Toys", will be available for viewing online as of this Friday, September 15th, and with the release just a couple days away Full Moon has shared a clip that shows the puppet Blade doing what he does best: making a bloody mess of his enemies. In this case, those enemies are a couple of Nazis.
Andre Toulon's puppets have fought Nazis many times over the course of the PUPPET MASTER series, and this particular film may feature their greatest battle with them yet, as it marks the end of a World War II era trilogy that began with 2010's PUPPET MASTER: AXIS OF EVIL and continued with 2012's PUPPET MASTER X: AXIS RISING.
Directed by Full Moon founder Charles Band, AXIS TERMINATION has the following synopsis:
To stop the Nazi war machine from winning World War II and affecting the outcome of the free world, BLADE, JESTER, PINHEAD and the rest of the indestructible Toulon puppets join forces with the masters of psychic powers!
AXIS TERMINATION chapters will be released weekly. "War Toys" will be followed by "Terrorkorps" on September 22nd and "Blitzkrieg" on September 29th.
After this serialized streaming release, PUPPET MASTER: AXIS TERMINATION will be airing on El Rey Network in its entirety next month. A DVD and Blu-ray release will follow sometime after that.
