Blade meets foot in torturous Exclusive clip from The Host

Vertical Entertainment will be releasing director Andy Newbery's THE HOST in select theaters and on demand this Friday, January 17th, and today we've gotten our hands on an EXCLUSIVE clip from the film that offers an early look at this "disturbing tale" of a London banker and an unassuming Dutch femme fatale.

Written by Finola Geraghty, Brendan Bishop, and Laurence Lamers, THE HOST centers on

Robert Atkinson and Vera Tribbe, two strangers with dark and disturbing secrets. When Robert flees London with a briefcase of stolen money, he seeks refuge in Amsterdam at Vera’s home. As they try to suppress their inner demons, a course of destruction emanates from their hidden secrets that can never be escaped.

The film stars Maryam Hassouni, Mike Beckingham, and Dougie Poynter.

Judging by the clip embedded above, Vera's home was a very poorly chosen hideout, because there are some twisted things going on in the basement of that place.

Check out the clip, and get ready for the release of THE HOST this Friday.
