In a world where more delays for the FRIDAY THE 13TH movie come practically every couple months, it's almost impossible to believe that a film could actually be pushed forward. Well, BLADE RUNNER 2 is here to redeem Hollywood.

The Dennis Villenueve sequel to RIdley Scott's sci-fi epic originally had a release date in January 2018, but now it's moved back in time. Look for more replicant mayhem on October 6, 2017. Hopefully that means the studio is gaining confidence in the project, because October is a much more cushy spot than that January wasteland.

BLADE RUNNER 2 stars Ryan Gosling, Robin Wright, Dave Bautista, and Harrison Ford, returning in his original role as Rick Deckard. The screenplay is being penned by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green, from a story by Ridley Scott and Fancher.
