According to Deadline, Blake Lively is set to star in and produce an adaptation of Lady Killer for Netflix, the Dark Horse Comic series written by Joëlle Jones and Jamie S. Rich, illustrated by Joëlle Jones, and colored by Laura Allred. The adaptation will be penned by Diablo Cody, but no director has been set at the moment.
Lady Killer will find Blake Lively playing Josie Schuller, who is, by all appearances, a perfect 1950s housewife, but when she's not catering to the needs of her family, she's leading a secret life as a highly-trained killer. Lady Killer was nominated as Best Limited Series at the 2016 Eisner Awards, with Joëlle Jones also nominated h as Best Penciller/Inker and Best Cover Artist. Blake Lively was last seen in The Rhythm Section, while Diablo Cody most recently scripted the Madonna biopic which will just so happen to be directed by Madonna herself.
