Blondie’s Debbie Harry to join I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House

Osgood Perkins' I AM THE PRETTY THING THAT LIVES IN THE HOUSE might have a cumbersone title, but it's got a sleek cast. A solid core of three actors has now become four. Blondie's Debbie Harry has just joined the ensemble for the Netflix thriller.

Obviously, she is most noted for her musical career, but Harry has done her fair share of acting. In addition to appearing in quite a few TV shows, she's been featured in John Waters' HAIRSPRAY and the horror flicks VIDEODROME and BODY BAGS. Honestly, she's worked with more heavy hitting horror directors than most actual actresses.

The film follows:

Lily, a young nurse hired to care for elderly Helen Bloom, a best-selling author of ghost stories who has chosen to live out her final days in her beloved country home – a home that holds an horrific ghost story of its own.

Also starring Ruth Wilson, Bob Balaban, and Lucy Boynton, I AM THE PRETTY THING THAT LIVES IN THE HOUSE begins principal photography in Ottawa tomorrow.
