Quick Blu-ray news for you folks, related to the Francis Ford Coppola piece of weirdness TWIXT and the highly-touted arthouse horror effort THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ROSALIND LEIGH.

Image Entertainment announced the release of THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ROSALIND LEIGH will become available on DVD and digital download on July 30th. The DVD will also feature audio commentary with Director Rodrigo Gudiño, a Making of Featurette, Mercan Dede featurette, poster and photo gallery and The Facts In the Case of Mister Hollow Short Film. You can check out the trailer for the film HERE.

After the mysterious death of the reclusive Rosalind Leigh (Redgrave), her estranged son, Leon (Poole), arrives at her house to take stock of his inheritance. But there’s more to this house than dark corners and dusty antiques. Rosalind has left something behind…and it has been waiting for Leon. Now a force from beyond the grave will pursue him through a night of lurking terror and a desperate struggle to survive.

As for TWIXT. When we last reported on it, we noted that it would be hitting DVD/Blu-ray on July 30th. That must have been an early estimate, because now it’s due to come out a week earlier, on July 23rd. We now also know that it will include an exclusive forty minute documentary on the making of the film by Gia Coppola. That will probably make the disc worth looking at on its own…

TWIXT follows Hall Baltimore (Kilmer), a writer on a book tour who uncovers a disturbing murder that could be source material for his next novel. But as Hall investigates the killing, he finds himself confronted by chilling nightmares, including the ghost of a young girl (Fanning). As he uncovers more horrifying revelations, Hall discovers that the story has more to do with his own life than he could ever have imagined.
